DC area),who like most luthiers, is a glutton for punishment and addicted to fine tools. I have been trying for a couple of years to get a hold of the illusive Chris Laarman to buy (another) one of his planes or find someone that carries them. The best I have been able to do is find one at a dealer in NJ who wants a lot for it. So I am paying the extra-ordinary high "collectors" price, BUT I would really like to know if Chris is still alive and making his planes and if so how do I go about contacting him and doing business??
