Dalton:

Chris is alive and well and off to other adventures and is not actively producing planes right now. I've got a full set of his luthier's planes and would be willing to part with the largest one- it overlaps with a number of planes that I have in that size.

Hey there, I am luthier out East (Wash. DC area),who like most luthiers, is a glutton for punishment and addicted to fine tools. I have been trying for a couple of years to get a hold of the illusive Chris Laarman to buy (another) one of his planes or find someone that carries them. The best I have been able to do is find one at a dealer in NJ who wants a lot for it. So I am paying the extra-ordinary high "collectors" price, BUT I would really like to know if Chris is still alive and making his planes and if so how do I go about contacting him and doing business?? ANy information you might have would be most appreciated.. Dalton Potter
